Report: Mick Jagger Working with Martin Scorsese on New Drama for HBO

Mick Jagger is developing a music-themed drama for HBO, with the help of Oscar-winning director Martin Scorcese. Deadline.com reports they're collaborating on a project titled History of Music, revolving around two friends in the music business over the course of 40 years. It's inspired by an idea of Jagger's that had been previously discussed as a feature-length film. If the project gets the green light, Jagger would co-executive produce it and Scorsese might direct the pilot.

Scorsese most recently worked with Jagger and The Rolling Stones on the 2008 concert documentary Shine a Light.  He also directed what many consider to be the best rock concert film ever, 1978's The Last Waltz.
