Rolling Stones Touring for 50th Anniversary...Then Retiring?

The Rolling Stones are hitting a milestone in their long career in 2012 -- their 50th anniversary.  To celebrate, the band plans to put together a world tour that will start in 2011 and will run until 2012.  MTV UK  is also reporting that, once the tour is over, the Stones will finally do what it seemed they never would -- hang up their instruments and call it quits.  Then again, the band's rep told EW.com that the rumor is "not true."  We'll see.

As for the tour itself, no other information has been released so far other than that concert promoter Live Nation is trying to put it together.
